Pre-Kindergarten is a play based program with a strong emphasis on kindergarten readiness. We ensure that our 4-year-olds have all  the tools needed for kindergarten while allowing them to socialize and have fun. Children are taught letters and their sounds, numbers, shapes, colors, mathmatical concepts and engage in many lessons based on themes of the seasons and months. Children are immersed in literacy and taught pre-reading and writing techniques. Teachers are trained in the Handwriting Without Tears Program where children participate in explicit multisensory activities and manipulate real objects as they learn the correct habits and skills that are essential for fluid writing.

Small motor and gross motor skills are achieved as the child builds confidence, coordination and self-awareness in the world around them. In addition, children listen to biblical stories, pray daily and participate in monthly chapel time to learn that God loves all people.
